Salesforce Increases Full-Year Guidance Figures

By John F. Heerdink, Jr.

CRM giant and Dow 30 component, Salesforce.com Inc (CRM), upwardly revised its full-year revenue forecast, as the pandemic-driven shift to hybrid work increased demand for its cloud-based software. Deals, including the acquisition of Slack, a workplace messaging app, helped the company to dodge competition from market leaders like Microsoft, Oracle, and SAP.

Salesforce now expects fiscal full-year 2022 sales between $26.25 billion and $26.35 billion, an increase from its previous forecast of $26.2 billion to $26.3 billion. The company also expects the fiscal year 2023 revenue of $31.65 billion to $31.80 billion, ahead of analyst’s estimates of $31.47 billion.
