Intel Pushes Back Planned Roll-Out Of Its Standalone Desktop Graphics Chips To Q2 – $INTC $DIA

By John F. Heerdink, Jr.

As per reports, Intel Corporation (INTC) has pushed back the launch of standalone graphics chips for desktops to the second quarter, however, the ones for laptops will be rolled out in the first quarter as originally planned. Last year in August, the chip giant informed that the graphics chips for PCs would arrive in the first quarter of 2022.

The decision comes due to the global supply chain issues, and chip shortage troubling chipmakers to keep up with the increasing demand. The company’s Arc graphics chips, making video games and content look more realistic, will compete with rivals Advanced Micro Devices Inc. and Nvidia Corp.

Intel Corporation (INTC) seeks to expand the boundaries of technology to provide the most amazing experience possible while designing, manufacturing, and selling integrated digital technology globally.
