Intel's Corporate VP & Chief Government Affairs Officer

Reportedly, Intel Corporation (INTC) has appointed Bruce H. Andrews as corporate vice president and chief government affairs officer, effective Sept. 7. Andrews will report to Steven R. Rodgers, Intel’s executive vice president, and general counsel. He will head Intel’s global government affairs group and will be responsible for the company’s government affairs and public policy functions and strategies, working with governments around the world on policy matters critical to Intel’s business.

“Bruce’s extensive expertise in public policy and international government relations, through his decades of experience in the public and private sectors, makes him a critical addition to our team. Government affairs plays a heavy role in today’s global and increasingly complex political landscape, and Bruce will help advance our collaboration with governments around the world as we address the soaring global need for semiconductors,” stated Pat Gelsinger, Intel’s CEO.

Andrews is a graduate of Haverford College and the Georgetown University Law Center. Before joining Intel, Andrews was at SoftBank Group, serving as the senior vice president and managing partner, co-leading global government affairs.
