As per reports, Walmart Stores, Inc. (WMT) has appointed PayPal Holdings Inc’s (PYPL) finance head, John Rainey, as its chief financial officer (CFO), effective June 6, replacing Brett Biggs. Brett Biggs served as Walmart’s finance chief since 2015 and will continue to serve as an adviser until he leaves the company in January 2023. PayPal has appointed senior executive Gabrielle Rabinovitch as interim CFO and is under a formal search for Rainey’s replacement. Rainey is on the board of directors at Nasdaq and also served as CFO at United Airlines.
