Nike’s Diversity Head Felicia Mayo To Exit The Company – $NKE $DIA

As per reports, NIKE’s, Inc. (NKE) head of diversity, Felicia Mayo, is scheduled to leave the company at the end of July after two years, marking the second executive to leave that role in as many years. Since July 2020, Felicia Mayo served as chief talent, diversity, and culture officer.

Mayo joined Nike from Tesla in 2019, succeeding Nike’s first-ever head of diversity and inclusion at a time when some employees were complaining the company fostered a boys-club culture. According to a company report published in March, Nike has increased its proportion of racial and ethnic minorities at the director level. As of fiscal 2019, the proportion of non-white vice-presidents stood at 21 percent.
