As per reports, Christoph Schell has been appointed executive vice president and chief commercial officer to lead the Sales, Marketing, and Communications Group (SMG), Intel Corporation (INTC) effective March 14. Schell will succeed Michelle Johnston Holthaus, who will continue in his new role as general manager of Intel’s Client Computing Group (CCG). Schell to be a part of the executive leadership team and will report directly to CEO Pat Gelsinger. Schell joins Intel from HP Inc., where he most recently served as a chief commercial officer.
