Israel Government Orders Push Chevron To Restart Operations At Offshore Tamar Natural Gas Platform

As per reports, Israel’s energy ministry has instructed Chevron Corporation (CVX) to restart operations at the offshore Tamar natural gas platform almost after nine days after it was shut on May 12 as per government instructions, due to Israel-Gaza unrest in the region.

Chevron holds a 25% stake in the Tamar gas field. The field is expected to reach full output within 36 hours of start-up, the company informed.
