As per reports, the Walt Disney Company (DIS) has appointed Mike White, an executive in the Media and Entertainment Distribution group, to the new role of senior vice president of Next Generation Storytelling and Consumer Experiences, leading the entertainment giant’s metaverse strategy. White will work alongside Disney’s creative teams, and help define consumers’ experience of Disney’s coming metaverse. White will report to Kareem Daniel, chairman of Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution, and to Josh D’Amaro, chairman of parks, experiences, and products.
