As per reports, Intel Corporation (INTC) announced the appointment of Christy Pambianchi as executive vice president and chief people officer, effective Sept. 7. Christy Pambianchi will report to CEO Pat Gelsinger. Pambianchi will head the Human Resources organization and will work to attract, retain, and engage the best talent as the technology giant is looking forward to strengthening execution and innovation to accelerate its transformation.
Previously, Pambianchi served as the executive vice president and chief human resources officer at Verizon, where she transformed the company’s HR practices. Pambianchi holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
