Boeing 737 MAX Planes Allowed To Transit In Vietnam After Ban Lift

By John F. Heerdink, Jr.

Reportedly, Vietnam has allowed Boeing (BA) 737 Max planes to transit in the country after they were suspended in 2019 over safety concerns, as per the Ministry of Transport. In March 2019, the Civil Aviation Authority Of Vietnam deferred issuing licenses to 737 MAX aircraft till the cause of an Ethiopian crash was investigated and determined by responsible agencies.

The ministry approved a proposal from the aviation authority after reports on safety and the resumption of aircraft elsewhere in the world were reported.
