As per reports, Apple (AAPL) employees may start returning to offices in early September for at least three days a week, informed Apple Inc. Chief Executive Officer, Tim Cook. The tech giant is planning to bring back employees to offices on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at a minimum, while remote work will still continue to be an option for the remaining two days.
Cook said that the availability of vaccinations and declining coronavirus infection, has led to the decision. He also informed that some employees have worked from Apple offices on certain days throughout the pandemic, while thousands of others have been away for more than a year. The CEO called the return to offices a “pilot” effort that will be again evaluated in 2022.
