Apple (AAPL) unveiled its new iPhone 13, introducing four versions the iPhone 13 mini, the iPhone 13, the iPhone 13 Pro, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max. The phones will be available from Sept. 24, and range in prices from $699 for the iPhone mini to $1,099 for the iPhone 13 Pro Max. The design of the iPhone 13 remains primarily the same as the iPhone 12, with some small changes.
The two rear cameras are now placed diagonally, and the notch at the top of the new phones is 20% smaller, improving screen size. The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini also has new Super Retina XDR displays that Apple informed are 28% brighter than the prior generation iPhone. The phones also have a new 5-nanometer A15 Bionic chip. The phones have a new video feature called Cinematic Mode, allowing users to quickly change the point of focus of videos allowing them to make Hollywood-style movies with the smartphone. The iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13 get a better battery life than the previous versions. The iPhone 13 starts at $799, the iPhone 13 mini at $699.
iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max
The iPhone Pro and Pro Max also have 20% smaller notches similar to iPhone 13, improving the overall screen size. The iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max are available in four colors, including blue. The Pro version, built with new XDR Super Retina displays has ProMotion technology. The iPhone 13 Pros also get a new camera system with better quality and a wide-angle lens. The iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max have better graphics capabilities than the iPhone 13, an increase in graphics by 50% compared to the iPhone 13’s 30%. The phones have better battery life. The iPhone 13 starts at $999, and the Pro Max at $1,099.
