Two Senior Executives From “Call of Duty” Maker Activision Blizzard To Step Down Ahead Of Microsoft Deal – $ATVI $MSFT $DIA

Reportedly, two senior executives of Video game maker Activision Blizzard Inc’s (ATVI) mobile gaming unit are leaving the company before its deal with Microsoft (MSFT). In January, Microsoft announced that it was buying the “Call of Duty” maker for $68.7 billion marking the biggest deal in the history of the gaming industry. One of the founders of King, Sebastian Knutsson is stepping down from his role as a chief creative officer. Also, President Humam Sakhnini, serving for six years at King and 12 years at Activision Blizzard, is also stepping down from his role, replaced by Tjodolf Sommestad.
