Reportedly, the Board of Boeing (BA) announced the election of David L. Gitlin, 53 as its newest member. Gitlin will join the Aerospace Safety Committee and the Finance Committee.
Currently, Giltin serves as chairman and CEO of Carrier and brings to the Board more than 20 years of aerospace industry experience. Previously, he served in several executive leadership roles, including as president and COO of Collins Aerospace Systems, and also as president of UTC Aerospace Systems.
Since April 2019, seven independent directors have joined the Board, collectively bringing in significant experience in safety, aerospace engineering, manufacturing, cyber, software, risk oversight, audit, supply chain management, and finance.
