As per reports, International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) is buying Waeg, a consulting partner for Salesforce (CRM) extending its range of services and supporting its hybrid cloud and artificial intelligence strategy. Waeg, based in Brussels serves clients across Europe, complements IBM’s acquisition in January of a U.S. consultancy that specializes in Salesforce’s customer management software, 7Summits.
“Waeg’s strength in Salesforce consulting services will be key to creating intelligent workflows that allow our clients to keep pace with changing customer and employee needs and expectations,” stated Mark Foster, senior vice president of IBM Services and Global Business Services.
The terms of the deal remained undisclosed. The transaction is subject to regulations and is expected to close this quarter.
