Reportedly, McDonald’s Corp (MCD) will not lift dining bans for its McDonald’s Texas and Mississippi restaurants, even after the two U.S. states lifted coronavirus curbs easing businesses to operate at full capacity. The fast-food giant informed that it has no plans to make any changes to its Covid-19 protocols anytime soon. Lastnweek, Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves lifted their state’s mask order and lifted all restrictions on businesses.
McDonald’s to assess case rates at state- and country-level data to make any decision on reopening dining rooms in the future. Other companies like Toyota Motor, General Motors, Kroger, Target Corp, and Macy’s Inc have also not made any changes to their mask policies.
