As per reports, International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) to enter an agreement to acquire one of the largest multi-cloud consulting and managed services firms in North America, Taos. The deal progresses IBM’s cloud migration and transformation capabilities, deepening the company’s commitment to expanding the depth and breadth of its hybrid cloud offerings in order to manage complex integrations.
Headquartered in San Jose, California, Taos brings 30 years of experience with leading brands across financial services, technology, healthcare, transportation, retail, and education. It is recognized as an industry leader and ranked by Gartner as a top cloud professional service provider.

The acquisition is expected to conclude in the first quarter of 2021. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. IBM also announced its plans to acquire European cloud consulting leader Nordcloud, last year on December 21, 2020.
