Disney Channel To Be Replaced In Russia By New Children’s Channel “Solntse” – $DIS $DIA $INVO

Reportedly, Disney Channel (DIS) is to stop broadcasting in Russia from December 14 and will be replaced by a new children’s channel called “Solntse”, which means “sun” in Russian, the Kommersant newspaper reported.

In March, the company informed that it would halt all business in Russia over its Ukraine Invasion, including content licensing, but some channels would take time to pause due to contractual norms.
