Travelers’s 2021 Championship Produces More Than $2 Million For 112 Charitable Organizations

As per reports, the 2021 Travelers Championship has generated more than $2 million for 112 charitable organizations informed the Travelers Companies, Inc. (TRV). The insurance provider became the title sponsor in 2007, and the tournament has generated $22.5 million for more than 800 non-profits across the region, since then.

The Travelers Championship donates 100% of its net proceeds to charity, and this year’s primary beneficiary is the Ashford, Connecticut-based organization, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp providing a traditional summer camp experience for children with serious illnesses. The camp also lost four buildings to fire, earlier this year. Travelers and the Travelers Championship helped to rebuild the campus, with $1 million in donations.

The 2022 Travelers Championship will take place June 20-26 at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut.
