Reportedly, the Oklahoma Health Care Authority has selected the UnitedHealthcare (UNH) Community Plan of Oklahoma to administer SoonerSelect, its statewide Medicaid program starting later this year.
UnitedHealthcare will work with the state offering self-management care solutions and improving the overall health and well-being of Oklahomans. The company will introduce a range of health benefit plans for a portion of the state’s Medicaid program. The membership will include access to UnitedHealthcare Community Plan’s care provider network including wellness programs and comprehensive health coverage including primary care, preventive care, hospitalization, prescriptions, and other health and wellness services at low or no cost.
