As per reports, American Express Company (AXP) has delayed a full return of its employees to offices in the United States until at least October 11, as the highly contagious Delta variant of coronavirus is witnessing a surge in the country, informed an internal memo sent by Steve Squeri Chief Executive Officer. The memo further informed that offices will remain open for employees who wish to come in and work from the office.
Major companies worldwide were looking forward to various hybrid and other models to bring their employees back to the office. They have recently delayed their return-to-office dates due to the rising Delta variant cases.
