Reportedly, Peter Mitchell has been appointed as the general manager of Verizon Connect, an important part of Verizon Business’ product portfolio and also one of the world’s largest SaaS-based fleet management providers.
Mitchell expands his role as the company’s chief technology officer. Mitchell succeeds Andrés Irlando, former Verizon SeniorVP, and Verizon Connect President, and will directly report to Verizon Business CRO, Sowmyanarayan Sampath.
Mitchell joined Verizon Connect via the acquisition of Fleetmatics, an NYSE-listed SaaS company where he was the co-founder and CTO. He was then appointed as senior VP and CTO for the broader Verizon Connect organization and has led service in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
