Walmart To Drop E-Cigarettes From Its Shelves

Walmart Stores, Inc. (WMT) to stop selling e-cigarettes and electronic nicotine delivery products at its U.S. stores, according to Reuters report and as mentioned in an internal memo of the company. Growing and Unmonitored usage of vaping products among teenagers has been a major cause of health concern leading to lung disease and deaths.

Recently, all flavored e-cigarettes were banned and removed from store shelves by Trump administration in New York and Michigan preventing millions of children into nicotine addiction. Walmart too, increased the minimum age for Tobacco purchase to 21 years, after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration called out the company for selling tobacco to minors along with other retailers like Kroger, Family Dollar, 7-Eleven, Sunoco, and Casey’s General Stores.
