As per reports, Walmart (WMT) grocery shopping can now be done via Instacart app in some U.S. cities offering same-day delivery, as Instacart starts its pilot delivery program in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, and Tulsa with Walmart.
In June, the company had raised 225 million in a new funding round, valuing it at $13.7 billion. The partnership is an advantage for Instacart as it moves closer to a likely initial public offering to meet booming grocery delivery demand driven by the COVID-19 pandemic. Instacart to also deliver alcohol and electronic items from Walmart in the U.S. locations.
