Procter & Gamble’s Vicks Contributes $1M Funding To Assist Front Line Health Workers of COVID-19

By John F. Heerdink, Jr.

The Procter & Gamble Company (PG)’s Vicks® family of cold and flu brands – NyQuil™, DayQuil™ and VapoRub™ are donating $1 million to Direct Relief, a humanitarian aid organization aiming to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies, including COVID-19.

The funds are meant to assist front line health workers, equipping them with protective gear and essential medical aid to health care organizations to meet the increasing number of COVID-19 patients in ICU.

“As a leader in consumer health for more than 125 years, Vicks has always focused on providing care and promoting relief in times of need. This time is no different – we must come together to help those most in need, which is why Vicks is helping to support health care workers on the front line,” stated Paul Gama, President-Elect, Global P&G Personal Health Care.
