Reportedly, The Procter & Gamble Company (PG) has come up with its first “Smart Lab” in association with the University of Illinois Research Park to speed up research and development. The initiative is proposed to bring together students and P&G employees and speed up the execution of research projects within weeks rather than months. Students work part-time at the lab and full-time during breaks and summers. P&G associate manager of Consumer & Market and Site Director, Brad Miller has been currently focusing on analytics and forecasting for the Bounty Essentials and Prints lines to assist brand managers in making informed decisions.
