Papa John Hires McDonald’s Jim Norberg As Chief Of Restaurants Operations

McDonald’s Corporation (MCD) is the leading global foodservice retailer with nearly 37,000 locations in over 100 countries. The Corporation operates and franchises McDonald’s restaurants in the US and across the globe with over 90% of its restaurants owned and operated by local, independent businessmen and women.

As per reports, Papa John’s International Inc. (PZZA) has appointed Jim Norberg for its newly created additional role of Chief of restaurants operations. Norberg with more than thirty years of service at McDonalds’s worked as a Chief Operating Officer for McDonald’s, managing operations for U.S. restaurants.

“Jim is a seasoned expert whose depth and understanding of restaurant operations and the guest experience will help propel our brand forward and position us for continued success,” stated Steve Ritchie, Papa John’s Chief Executive Officer.

Norberg to be responsible for growing sales, profit margin, and customer satisfaction for Papa John’s International Inc. Last year, the pizza chain’s sales dropped after its founder John Schnatter faced a bitter battle for a racial slur in a training conference.
