Microsoft & Avaya Announce Avaya IX-CC A Next Gen Contact Center As A Service Platform

Recently at the 39th GITEX Technology Week, Microsoft (MSFT) and Avaya, a global leader in solutions creating intelligent communications experiences for customers and employees announced that they are joining forces to bring in contact center services to the cloud.

The next-generation contact center as a service platform, called Avaya IX-CC, will be accessible on Azure hosted in Microsoft’s cloud data centers available initially in Arab Gulf regions of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The service will be available to customers in the first half of 2020 with voice facilities, with omnichannel features to be introduced later this year.
