Johnson & Johnson’s Diabetes Drug Relieved Of Boxed Amputation Risk Warning

As per reports, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has removed the boxed warning about amputation risk for Johnson & Johnson’s (JNJ) diabetes drug, Invokana. Amputations have been observed as the agency’s harshest warning. Approved in 2017, Invokana is advised to be used with diet and exercise to lower blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes.
