Norway’s $1 trillion wealth fund is reportedly now permitted again to invest in miner Rio Tinto and retailer Walmart after it was excluded and prohibited from the fund’s investments on ethical grounds previously, as reported by the board of the Central Bank. The board informed the reinvestments may take place “within an appropriately long timeframe,” without declaring any deadline.
