IBM Regular Quarterly Cash Dividend of $1.63/share to Shareholders of Record As Of May 8, 2020

As per reports, the IBM board of directors announced a regular quarterly cash dividend of $1.63 per common share to shareholders of record as of May 8, 2020, payable on June 10, 2020. The dividend represents an increase of $.01 per common share.

Arvind Krishna, IBM chief executive officer, stated, “IBM’s free cash flow and our strong balance sheet gives us the confidence to both invest aggressively in the cloud and AI technologies, while also returning value to our shareholders. We remain fully committed to our dividend even during this unprecedented time, and we recognize the importance of the dividend to more than 2.3 million investors in IBM.”

IBM has increased its quarterly cash dividend 25th time in a row and has been paying consecutive quarterly dividends since 1916.
