Reportedly, the total compensation of Chief Executive David Solomon, The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (GS) rose by 19% or $4 million for 2019 in comparison to 2018. Solomon’s total compensation for 2019 was $24.7 million, as per reports. The revelation comes as the company faces pressure to lower payouts to investors to suppress the fallout from the coronavirus outbreak.
John Waldron, Goldman’s president also received total compensation of $22.3 million in 2019, up from $16.8 million in 2018, the filing revealed.
