FCC Votes To Allow Carriers & Companies To Block Unwanted “Robocalls”

Reportedly, the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) voted recently to allow phone companies to block unwanted calls by default in order to curb misleading and annoying calls. The body also voted to allow carriers to let companies block any call, not on the contact list of a customer if opted.

Recently, Apple (AAPL) announced that its new version of software update will allow customers to block unwanted unknown calls. The new upgrade will allow calls only from contact, mail, and message list and other calls will automatically move to voice mail.
