Reportedly, Exxon Mobil will be selling all of the stakes that it holds in oil and gas fields located off the Norwegian coast. Exxon had sold its operated assets in the area two years back and was currently in possession of more than 20 fields, including the Equinor-operated Snorre and Shell-operated Ormen Lange. As per 2017 data, net production for the U.S Oil major from Norway was an approx. of 170,000 barrels of oil per day.
