Disney Unveils New Attractions At Its Magic Kingdom Park

By John F. Heerdink, Jr.

Dow 30 Component, The Walt Disney Company (DIS),  and its subsidiaries is a diversified worldwide entertainment company that operates in four business segments: Studio Entertainment, Media Networks, Parks and Resorts, and Consumer Products & Interactive Media.

Reportedly, Walt Disney World is set to welcome visitors with new attractions and experiences at its theme park including a new nighttime show with Minnie Mouse theme in its Magic Kingdom theme park. The activities are all part of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party scheduled to run on select nights from Nov. 8-Dec. 22, 2019.

Here’s what the Disney Parks Blog has to say :

The skies above Magic Kingdom Park will sparkle to life this holiday season as visions of fireworks dance in the air during “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks.” Minnie Mouse is our host, inviting everyone to come together in a celebration of the magic of Christmas. The sky fills with fireworks, as we’re swept up in medleys of beloved holiday songs, from “Joy to the World” and “Deck the Halls” to “Up on the House-Top” and “We Wish You A Merry Christmas.” The music of the show evokes heartfelt moments of home and family, as well as the festive fun of the season, all building to an incredible finale.

In addition to “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks,” this year at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party you can be among the first to experience new holiday enhancements to favorite attractions, such as Space Mountain and Mad Tea Party. There’s also an all-new holiday show at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, and when you get behind the wheel at the Tomorrowland Speedway, you’ll find yourself cruising a festive freeway filled with thousands of lights and stylized décor.

American City Business Journals also recently reported that Walt Disney World has welcomed more than 58.2 million visitors last year at its four local theme parks Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios accounting for 70% of the region’s market. The new investments would help to increase repeat visits resulting in an increase in spends at hotels, restaurants, shops, etc and assist in boosting the $70 billion tourism industry. Additionally, the tourist tax revenue can be channeled for upgrades to area venues such as Camping World Stadium and the Orange County Convention Center.
