Disney & Sinclairs To Reach A Deal Worth More Than $10 Billion Over Sports Network

Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday the acquisition of 21 regional sports networks of Walt Disney Co by Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. The deal could possibly include sports channels in Los Angeles and Detroit, as per reports. Disney had previously won the acquisition of $71 billion for Fox's film and television assets against Comcast Corp, a cable company in a bidding war. U.S. Justice Department had ordered the company to divest the Fox Networks previously acquired by the company for regional and local markets.
